Acer Aspire AS1830T-68U118

The Acer Aspire AS1830T-68U118 laptop is as fast as it is small, earning top marks in all of our performance tests.

Full-size keyboard. New CULV processor based on Core i7 technology. Excellent battery scores. Travel-friendly. HDMI included. Top of the class performance scores.

Undersized touchpad and mouse buttons. A bit pricey. ; The Acer Aspire AS1830T-68U118 is an 11-inch laptop that runs on an Intel Core i7 Consumer Ultra-Low Voltage (CULV) processor and delivered over 8 hours of battery life.

Acer TimelineX 1830T-3721 Laptop Computer Review - PCWorld

Excellent design and features compensate for lackluster performance in a cool little laptop that will have netbook buyers considering something just a little bit bigger.

Acer Aspire 1830T Timeline X Review

The onboard speakers were lap-firing and sounded very tinny. The speakers had no low frequency response to speak of and just a small hint of midrange. This is fine for listening to Windows alert sounds or watching a YouTube clip, but not for...

Good performance ; Excellent battery life ; Thin and light design

Uncomfortable touchpad and touchpad buttons ; Lacks gaming capability

Combine the lack of gaming capability with the frustrating touchpad and consumers might just be tempted to buy the heavier and thicker Alienware or the more expensive Apple instead. If you don't care about gaming then the Acer makes a compelling...

Low weight of 1.36 kg ; Good performance ; Good battery life ; Low power consumption ; Low system noise ; SPDIF-out

Despite the topnotch performance, the battery life is just enough for almost five hours of surfing and watching movies

Acer TimelineX 1830T-68U118 Notebook Review

Today I am checking out the Acer TimelineX 1830T-68U118 notebook. This is a very nice little ultraportable notebook that has some nice features and good looks. If you need a new notebook and you want a small and portable one the Acer TimelineX...

Good video streaming performance ; Fantastic keyboard

Expensive

The only bad thing I can say about the Acer TimelineX 1830T-68U118 is that you can find a larger machine with more performance in some benchmarks for the same price. If you want an ultraportable with decent performance and a fantastic keyboard, this is...

Acer Aspire TimelineX 1830T review: an 11.6in laptop with great mobility

Light, less than 30mm thick, decent performance for a small laptop

Keyboard could be better, touchpad is too small, reflective screen

The Acer Aspire TimelineX 1830T is an ultraportable notebook that's light, very mobile and provides decent performance for office and Web tasks, as well as some multimedia tasks. We think it should be considered by people who have considered getting a...
