Acer Aspire 5733z

The Acer Aspire 5733z Laptop is a low priced budget laptop with powerful features. This Acer laptop is powered with Intel Pentium Dual-Core P6200 2.13 GHz processors with 2 GB DDR3 RAM and supports 320 GB SATA HDD that gives you ample storage for all...

For $349 it can't be beat

For a standard user, this laptop is great. Check e-mail, browse the net, etc. with ease. Good looks and nice overall layout.

Slick looking, keyboard is nicely laid out, doesn't get very hot, screen looks awesome

I suppose the Acer bloatware but I always reload the O/S as soon as I receive new laptops so this didn't affect me

Decent

I bought this for my mom as a birthday present. It's pretty decent for what it is and what she uses it for. Basic computing, internet browsing, youtube etc. It's been reliable so far for almost a year, and she leaves it running all day so it's seen...

Good for basic computing and light use ; No problems of almost a year of daily use ; Good for what it is

Bloatware, lots of bloatware. I guess it has to be expected buying pre-manufactured computers, such as this; however, I deduct and egg for it ; It can't run Crysis or make breakfast

Nice Laptop

I bought this refurbished/ recertified, so I can't complain too much about slight damage. That is the plastic on one of the lid hinges was cracked, and the LED that lights up the power button doesn't turn on. Big whoop. So far, turning out to be a nice...

Lightweight ; Fairly thin when closed ; Full keyboard + full number pad ; Not a fingerprint magnet ; Decent speakers ; Decent GPU. Intel HD, Minecraft is playable and some side scrollers from Steam, like Dustforce and Super Meatboy. I haven't played...

Bloatware, lots of it. Who the hell uses Norton Antivirus ; The lid doesn't close flat. Maybe this is because I bought the laptop refurbished, but there's about a 5 mm gap between the lid and the body when closed. I don't like this because I usually...

Does what you'd expect it too.

I use my desktop for gaming and heavy processing ,but wanted something portable for typing papers. it does that just fine. It is light, functional, and quiet. I got this computer for 350 last week. Worth it

Obscene amounts of bloatware. After that is removed it is reasonably nimble for the price

Great for a new person to computers and not looking to do much with it outside of the common every day stuff

Unless you are a hardcore gamer, no cons to mention

Nice, fast, but defective out of the box...

Quite fast for simple tasks! good quality, once cleaned from unnecessary stuff, takes less than a minute to boot up

After first start, 2 USB ports out of 3 did not respond at all, leaving just 1 on the left side working, Power LED is not working. dont waste your time and money. I thought people just say #### about this laptop , but they were right. However, very...

Great little laptop

All I need a laptop for is playing on the internet, uploading stuff, etc. If you know someone who needs an inexpensive machine for such, don't hesitate to try the Acer.

Easy to use machine. I am not a geek, so I assure you, if I can take the laptop out of the box and have it working in a few minutes, it is idiotproof. I have used it for about two months now without any problems

None so far-maybe it is a little heavy for some people
