Acer Aspire 5755-6482

The Acer Aspire 5755-6482 delivers performance and features that place it in the upper echelon of sub-$600 laptops.

Affordable price. Attractive design. Generous amounts of RAM, hard drive space.

Unremarkable productivity performance and battery life. No USB 3.0 ports. Stiff touchpad button.

Review Acer Aspire 5755G Notebook

All-rounder with GeForce GT 630M. Acer is one of the first manufacturers to build in the brand new GeForce 600 series from Nvidia. The battery life of the Aspire 5755G isn't to be neglected either, despite the installed quad core CPU and midrange GPU:...

Moderate noise level, Good battery life, Good input devices, Compact power adapter, Graphics switching, Great performance, The fan doesn't get unpleasantly loud during load

Few interfaces, High temperature development, CPU throttling during full load, Contrast weak glare screen, Sensitive lid, A feasible screen - preferably with a non-glare surface

Acer Aspire 5755 Review

The Acer Aspire 5755 sells for a maximum retail price of Rs. 29,999. For that price, the laptop makes a good case for a basic 15-inch laptop for home use - it has good hardware, decent feature set and delivers expected performance without disappointing...

Attractive price, Useful proprietary software, Choices of colour, Good performance

Single mouse button, Slightly washed out screen, Ordinary onboard sound, despite Dolby software

Acer Aspire 5755 Notebook Review

Mid-range notebooks have been around since quite some time, now.

The Acer Aspire 5755 retails at a price of Rs. 29,354 and comes pre-installed with Windows 7 Home Basic. Build quality and battery life was average, but it is quite cheap as compared to the Lenovo G570, which has similar specs. The 5755 will appeal to...

Great Lappy, Mediocre OS

Powerful, good capacity, good price. Excellent scores on benchmarks. Excellent wireless reception. Beautiful screen. Reasonable price for the specs

Compatibility issues with Windows 7. I guess this is really a problem with the OS, not the hardware. The hardware is excellent ; The only real problem I see is that the highly polished surfaces show fingerprints and smudges immediately

Arrived Fast. Great Value overall

not a lot of bloatware, WEI 5.9 [the HDD] once I removed the bloatware [replaced the 'temp' subscriptions of anti-virus & productivity suite with alternatives ; CPU is great value for price. Screen is gorgeous

both memory slots taken, 5400rpm HDD

Nice Value Laptop::Few Glitches

Like every other pre-packaged laptop/pc this thing comes loaded with junk software, first thing done was reload windows (deCRAPify). Performance is 150% with new OS install. This laptop is one of the best for its price and 4 eggs is based on that fact...

Good processor speed and capacity for $$. Manages downloads and installations very quickly while enabling continued work with only fractions of processor capacity in use. 64 bit OS is nice and enables fast & seamless remote to VPN (WORK). Feeds HD...

Primary Reason for 4 eggs: Touch pad is way to sensitive and even with most current drivers and custom software it cannot be reduced (pointer sometimes jumps, slides, etc. without direct contact with touchpad) ; A few other things: No dedicated volume...
