good screen size@ 17" but poor battery life of about 2 hours without recharging. Keyboard ok. Overall it was value for money with the 20% discount obtained.

WOULD LIKE LONGER BATTERY LIFE BUT AT THE PRICE CAN NOT COMPLAIN.

I am about to retire and need a laptop for my personal use. I cannot believe the performance of this, it's wonderfully fast. Despite the 17.5" screen, it is relatively lightweight. As a typist, I find the keyboard comfortable to use.

A couple of minor downsides - only 2 x usb ports which as I like to use a mouse, I find a bit restricting; no microphone with the onboard webcam.

Products states it is good for keeping in touch with family and friends, but the webcam has not got a microphone in it, so is not what it is advertised.

Battery life great. It last over 2 hours away from being charged.

Unheard of to have a built in web cam with no built in mic. How ridiculous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

General functionality is excellent. Capacity, graphics, speed and size of monitor are all very satisfactory.

Battery seems to run out fairly quickly.

All round excellent laptop. Powerful and fast. Very pleased with it.

I originally opted for the identical model with 4 USB ports - this only has 2 - but it was out of stock. However, seeing I have a USB hub anyway it's not a problem.

good allrounder,nice big screen,not to heavy and the battery last quite a long time compare with other laptops I've had.

I'f I had to pick a bad point it would be thats its big and bulky but what do you expect from a 17".

Good clear screen, fast loading a good effort to replace stand alone desktop. but has the flexibility to be portable around the house.

Acer insist on using product code stickers(authentication codes) on the under side of their laptops that are prone to smudging. Other manufacturers use laminated ones which last the lifetime of their machine.
