Acer Aspire One D260-1270

Thanks to a few above average specs, like a 320GB hard drive and a long lasting battery, the Acer Aspire One D260-1270 stands out among a crowd of look-alike netbooks.

Dual core processor. 320GB hard drive. 2GB RAM. 9-hour battery life.

Small keyboard. Bloatware.

Acer Aspire One D260-23797 review: Acer Aspire One D260-23797

Acer Aspire One D260-23797

Small, thin design; large keyboard and touch pad.

Merely average battery life; occasional sluggishness.

Acer's Aspire D260 is slim and lightweight, even for a Netbook, but its slightly faster processor doesn't lead to better performance.

Acer Aspire One D260 review – an affordable netbook you would love

I can say I'm not a big fan of Acer laptops, mainly because I consider them entry level devices, more focused on budget than on features and build quality. However, I do have to admit that I was surprised...

I never thought I would get to appreciate an Acer mini laptop, but the Aspire One D260 really proved me Acer netbooks evolved a lot in these last years. In fact, with products like these, there's no wonder they are the best selling brand in this segment.

Acer Aspire One D260

Acer's latest mainstream netbook is attractive and very affordable indeed.

Soft inner finish ; Cheap ; Solidly built

Basic specifications ; Limited connectivity ; 1,024 x 600 screen

While the Aspire One D260 doesn't bring anything new to the table where specifications are concerned, its visual flair and soft-touch ergonomics lend it an edge, honed further by a price that easily undercuts rivals.

Acer Aspire One D260: If 3G is All You Really Want

Acer's netbook Aspires to be One nice netbook meant for quick internet connectivity, but is it all good?

At a price of Rs. 17,999 (MOP) or 19,999 (MRP) the Aspire One D260 feels overpriced. In terms of performance, there’s nothing that this netbook does which the cannot do better. Agreed that 3G compatibility is a neat feature, but for now 3G in India is...

Acer Aspire One D260 review

The new Acer Aspire One D260 is designed in a similar way to the Aspire One 532h netbook - but the Aspire One D260 is a lot more smarter, even cuter. The netbook's coloured in lavender with a glossy finish on its 10-inch screen lid. Acer has relegated...

The new Acer Aspire One D260 is a smarter, better-looking netbook than the Acer Aspire One 532h. It offers excellent battery life and comes with standard netbook hardware and performance, and sells for an attractively low price.

Only 160GB hard drive ; No Windows 7 OS; just Windows XP

Acer Aspire AOD260 Wireless Broadband Netbook

A decent Netbook with Tata Photon+ built-in

EV-DO 3G Modem built-in, thin and light design, smooth and responsive touch-pad, good battery life (even with 3G usage), fair price

Only 1GB RAM and 160GB hard drive, sluggish performance at times, keyboard design causes unwanted input
