Acer Aspire One D270 Review, Price in India, Features

Acer Aspire One D270 is new netbook from the house of Acer. It is an excellent computing device delivering decent performance.

• Intel Atom D2600, 1.6GHz, 1MB L2 Cache Processor ; • 10.1 inch, 1024 x 600 pixel resolutions display ; • Windows 7 Operating System ; • Intel GMA 3600 Graphics ; • 2GB DDR3 RAM ; • 320GB SATA Hard Disk ; • Bluetooth V4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 bgn, USB 2.0,...

• Keys on the keyboard are too close to each other ; • Trackpad buttons are a bit hard to press

The Acer D270 Review gives an idea that this is a fine computing device for you. No doubt, there are some limitations, but you can ignore those. In terms of price, it is quite justified considering its technical specifications. Acer Aspire One D270...

Acer netbook

I bought this to replace another netbook. I like the size and it's very fast booting up. I upgraded the memory myself and it was really easy, finding a video showing how to do it on youtube. Windows 7 slows it down considerably but it'a nice machine....

Slooooooooooooooooow

discontinued a little too late. Wish I hadn't bought it. Put your money towards something better.

It works.... but very very slowly.

This computer is so slow that I don't ever want to use it. I bought to watch movies, do internet browsing, and do occasional light work on Microsoft office. It is so frustratingly slow on starting up, updating, opening web browsers, internet searching...

Can't easily add memory

Worked ok until the hard drive died. IF I only played solitaire. Memory consuming apps were a killer.

cheap, last of the netbooks

Cannot easily add memory and 1 GB is laughable with Windows. The hard drive died within 2 weeks. Love Neweggs return policy.

Good little netbook

Wasn't used to the speed at first- I usually am working on a machine with 16-32 GB RAM, i5 processor. The Atom is a decently fast chip though. I added a second gigabyte of RAM in this for a total of 2 GiB. Not bad after a little while. I recommend LXDE...

Good netbook. Bought to run Linux on - Debian derivatives. Works out of the box with newer kernels. Most devices fully work. Battery life is AMAZING on this Aspire One. Fast enough to do some minor processing and programming. The weight is great- very...

RMA in Process

Hoping this is just one defect out of the batch and will update when I tested the second system. Much appreciated pre-paid label from Newegg for the RMA return.

Meets our needs ; Win 7 32-Bit ; Low Price ; Compatible with hardware/software testing

System would lockup on boot (blank screen) or prompt Startup Repair ; Waking up from Sleep Mode would interrupt Ethernet connectivity requiring a reboot ; Wi-Fi unstable, even with a Static IP
