Review Acer Aspire 1830T Subnotebook

Energy Drink. Peeved because your netbook is too slow? Acer has the solution: Simply take Core i5! Small 12 inch size, less than 1.4 kilograms and five hour mobility. We'll demonstrate the abilities of the smallest Timeline X for 800 euro.

Low weight of 1.36 kg, Good performance, Good battery life, Low power consumption, Low system noise, SPDIF-out, Good subnotebook performance in a small size at an attractive price. There aren't any similarly strong 11.6 inchers for less than 800 euro

Display not AR coated, Treble-prone sound, Good input devices and an AR coated display would have made the consumer 1830T to an inexpensive alternative in comparison to pro-subnotebooks, like the HP EliteBook 2540p (1500 euro)

The Acer TimelineX 1830T is our top pick among subnotebooks. It doesn't compromise power or battery life and it has a good set of ports that outnumber the competition. We're impressed with the specs on the 1830T, and they beat out the competition in...

Overall, we like the Aspire TimelineX 1830T for its small size and excellent mobility, but due to this it is a little uncomfortable to use. Its keyboard isn't great and its touchpad is small, but in time you will probably get used to them. We think...
