Acer Travelmate 3010

Good things do come in small packages, at least in the case of Acer's TravelMate 3010, which has all you need for a reasonable price. It's lightweight...

Solid performance

Screen distorted when flexed

For its size and price this Acer is a great purchase. It has a strong selection of connectivity options crammed into a small package and good battery life as well.

Acer TravelMate 3010

Acer's cheap and cheerful thin-and-light feels more like a high-end offering thanks to its stellar performance and battery life.

Superb performance for an ultra-portable ; Great battery life ; Small and lightweight ; Six-cell and three-cell batteries included

Screen is dark and drab ; Bluetooth/Wi-Fi switches are too loose ; DVD drive is external ; Proprietary Acer software is annoying

The Acer TravelMate 3010 comes with a three-year pickup and return warranty.

Acer - TravelMate 3010

If all you're looking for is speed and a long battery life then the Acer is for you. But if you're looking for something with a little bit more then bide your time. The model we reviewed needs to have the rough edges taken off. If Acer manages to do...

Acer TravelMate 3010

I don't know why people are so hooked up with built-in cd/dvd drives. Who cares when you can have the U-disks to copy and you can use the external one when you are at home. For me any lap-top weighing more than 2 kg is a joke. But there are too...

As above mentioned ; Good price for what you get

HK is a bit hot to warming feature of the hand rest ; Screen is a bit small but this is the give in for lighter weight ; Too much plastic look ; I only get 12 month warranty. It is a short change for us in HK/Asia
