Acer TravelMate TMC312XCi Intel Centrino 1.73GHz PC tablet

The Acer TravelMate TMC312XCi with Intel Centrino 1.73GHz is a good PC tablet for those looking for the functionality of both a laptop and PC tablet. It looks just like a laptop, but when you open the screen you can open it up and flip it over so that...

Overall I find the features of this computer pleasing. It has a good mix of parts, offering nearly all the things you could want for a price that is not cheap, but reasonable for what you get.

Acer TravelMate C310 TMC214XCi Intel Centrino 2.0GHz Tablet PC

The TravelMate C310 is a very powerful laptop from Acer. It provides all the functionality of a laptop, but the screen can be flipped over to convert it into a tablet. The laptop comes with an Intel Centrino 2.0GHz, which is very fast and combined with...

The real strength of this computer is its power. It outperforms many other laptops in the same price range. Its 2.0GHz processor and 1GB or fast RAM certainly help it there. It has it's quirks, but overall gives great performance.

Acer TravelMate C312XMi

Acer's beefy convertible tablet packs plenty of punch, but at the expense of portability.

Responsive, comfortable keyboard

Bulky, poor handwriting recognition

Acer's TravelMate C312XMi is a great device if you're after a notebook first and tablet PC second. The relatively low screen resolution impedes its handwriting recognition.

Acer TravelMate C312XMi - Tablet PC

Tablet PCs have yet to light up the computing world but this new machine from Acer shows that they're still an option.

The optical drive is located on the front of the left hand side of the notebook and shares this side with the power switch and a Kensington lock hole. Most of the ports are located around the back. Here you’ll find the power connector, two USB 2.0...

Acer TravelMate C312XMi

We've lost count of exactly which generation of tablet PCs the TravelMate C312XMi is part of, but Acer tells us it's the fourth, and who are we to argue?

We're not convinced that the tablet PC is going to catch on in a big way, no matter how many times it gets a makeover, but Acer's offering compares favourably with most. It has plenty of good features, even if the price tag is a touch on the high side....

Acer TravelMate C312XMi

We're not sure what generation of Tablets we're on, but Acer says it's the fourth.

Tablets are still an acquired taste, but Acer's take on the subject is a good one. If you're prepared to pay the extra for Tablet features, take a look.

Best Laptop I've ever had

Acer has received some very bad press in regards to their customer service, and I can relate to this. However, in terms of the hardware, I must say that the Tablet PC is the most astonishing piece of value for money I have ever owned. I bought the ...
