ADVENT 9117

This is the second recon I've bought and I'm just as happy with this one as the first. Just like a brand new one but without the retail packaging. Superb value for money.

Two dead pixels but apart from that I've nothing bad to say about it.

Sound Quality

extremely easy to use. good size for using. wireless connection great. loads and shuts down quickly.

battery runs down quite quickly when in use. I tend to keep it plugged in mostly when using.

Memory configuration makes it difficult and more expensive to upgrade ie: there are 2 512mb modules fitted, it would have been more sensible had a 1gb module been fitted in the slot under the keyboard therefore making it simple to upgrade to the...

short battery life, caused by a big screen

nice big wide glossy screen, good size hard drive DVD-RW great value for money - the item looked like new

the battery life is poor, You only get about an hour without further charging, apparently this is a common problem with advent laptops
