Good to use Easy to set up

It is a good value for money purchase, that works quickly and responds well. The running of the internal systems are sleek and it can cope with multitasking fairly well, and the screen itself provides a very decent resolution.

The laptop itself is quite heavy, and the design is very different as the keyboard is a lot closer to the screen. The keys are sometimes not very responsive so a fair amount of re-typing has to be done.

Windows 8 can take some getting used to.

it is easy to convert windows 8 back to windows 7, windows 8 is the most ridiculous concept that microsoft has ever come up with ? this idea of "no start" button, does not go down very well with a lot of pc users !! no doubt they will have learned...

the volume leaves a lot to be desired !! and windows 8 is truly a bad idea ? also the touchpad is too sensitive ?

Battery wouldn't charge! Mouse awkward to use and it ran with Windows 8 (not the most user friendly Windows programme I have ever used)

Nice machine, easy to use, self set-up went very easy. A good system for basics.

There are a couple of points which in my opinion are rather poor design faults and which were very surprising indeed. There is no way to either upgrade the memory or the hard drive without invalidating the warranty as there are no specific individual...

I am still learning about the new operating system ( Windows 8 ) and from what I know so far it is better than Windows XP apart from the email print off from it but that could be because I am on cable broadband and it is virgin media who is dictating...

The battery life is not very good
