Medion Akoya E3211 - 13.3in CULV Laptop

Unlike most similar CULV laptops, the Medion E3211 has an optical drive, but is this enough to warrant a purchase?

Connectivity is reasonable, with three USB ports, VGA, Gigabit Ethernet, a memory card reader, headphone and microphone jacks and a 34mm ExpressCard slot all included, but the lack of HDMI is another cost cutting measure. We can understand this...

Medion Akoya E3211 review

Limited performance, but great mobility from this capable CULV laptop

Good screen ; Great battery life ; Light and portable ; Build quality

Not the fastest performer ; Not much GPU power

Although this laptop is down on the power stakes, this little machine is perfect for accompanying you on your journey to work

Where the Medion Akoya E3211 does succeed is in offering an affordable alternative to the vastly dearer ultraportables from the likes of Sony. At this price you'll never get anything to match the power or style of a VAIO, but if you can put up with a...

Medion - Akoya E3211

Medion is best known for its range of low-cost computers, and at £499 its new Akoya E3211 laptop certainly fits into that category. The Akoya E3211 is powered by an Intel Pentium SU2700 processor, which is ...

With its low-powered specification and plain design, the Akoya E3211 does little to set pulses racing. And in terms of processing power, it's only a smidgen faster than most Atom-powered netbooks. That said, the 13.3-inch screen and large keyboard make...
