Apple MacBook Core 2 Duo Review

Studying Computer Science at Imperial College London has given me the opportunity to use a wide range of Operating Systems. In the past year, I have both casually played with and professionally worked with Linux, UNIX, Windows and Mac OS X. In my...

Good overall build ; High quality iSight camera ; Excellent sound card ; OS X >> Windows XP (with the exception of gaming) ; A performance increase is always nice

Standard delivery method is on a cart pulled by a mule. (Very slow, for those of you who don’t get it) ; Rosetta ; No PC card slot ; No memory card reader ; Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950

I have never before experienced such a simple to use, efficient, bug free and secure user interface. The most frustrating part during this review was when I had to Boot Camp into Windows and run the few benchmark tests. The driver installations,...

Apple MacBook Core 2 Duo notebook PCs

Since its debut in May 2006, the Apple MacBook laptop family has earned a place in the pantheon of Apple's all-time greatest hits. The sturdy, Intel-powered MacBook notebooks have been so popular with consumers, especially students, that they've helped...

With more cache and system memory as well as a larger hard drive, the £699 MacBook is noticeably snappier than its predecessor, and not significantly slower than its higher-priced siblings. Still, if you can afford an additional £130, our...

Apple MacBook (Core 2 Duo 2.0GHz, 13-inch, black)

The new MacBook, updated to Intel's Core 2 Duo CPU, compares very favourably with Apple's high-end MacBook Pro line, offering premium performance at a reasonable price.

Cheaper than the MacBook Pro, with nearly comparable performance ; Great design ; Built-in Webcam and remote control ; Can run Windows XP via Boot Camp

No ExpressCard slot or FireWire 800 ; Lacks media card reader ; Only 90 days of toll-free technical support

Veeryyy Good

Apple MacBook Air has a very impressive mini-thin build, not only thanks to its leading integrated technology and process design strength, also because of its use of special low-voltage Intel P7500 processor version. For such a crazy world number one...

Apple MacBook (Core 2 Duo 2.0GHz, 13-inch, black)

Never had so many problems. Off to buy a new pc today and go back to something that really does work. Macs dont live up to their taglines or any of their adverts. "never errors" as if, thats all I get is errors.

It seemed like a good idea at the time

Biggest mistake I could have made which will end up costing me a fortune

Apple MacBook (Core 2 Duo 2.0GHz, 13-inch, black)

I have had the white 2GHz model for 6 months and have been very happy with it. My first notebook after 5 windows desktops. Suits my purposes down to a tee. A real joy to use

Spectacular design, most other notebooks look like relics compared to this! Neat, slick, attractive ; OSX is a joy, so user friendly and stable ; very thin ; nice soft touch keyboard ; user upgradeable HDD and Ram ; beautiful sharp glossy screen ; you...

trackpad button stopped working after 1month, whole top case replaced by apple overnight (next byte shop) ; Gets very hot on your lap
