Asus EEE PC 1025C-GRY054S

The Asus Eee PC 1025C Flare has amazing battery life, and is probably the least expensive Windows 7 laptop you'll find.

Just about everything else is substandard. A machine like this was acceptable a few years ago, but it just doesn't cut it in the post-iPad world.

Asus brought Netbooks into the world, and with the last-gasp Eee PC 1025C Flare, it looks like it's going to take them out as well.

Small, light, quick to start up, good battery life, hmdi out

Could do with more memory,can't upgrade it. Should have gone for 2Mb option

Keyboard; CPU (1.86GHz); screen; ports. Much better than a tablet for typing - documents, emails etc. Storage 320Gb leaves all but the most silly-expensive tablets in the dust. Also has a proper OS - better for serious computing than...

Very well built, brilliant battery life, light, good screen (for what it is) and generally Great

Ram is a bit poor, upgraded to 4gb but was a bit of a task due to no access panel. Don't try it unless you know what you're doing!
