ASUS F6Ve-B1

The ASUS F6Ve-B1 laptop wields more power than any other 13-inch laptop, but it does so at the expense of style and battery life.

Fast processor. Good gaming laptop for road warriors. Reasonably priced. 4GB of memory. Lightweight. Excellent warranty.

Frame is boxy and not at all stylish. Battery life takes a hit. Available online only.

ASUS F6Ve Review

The ASUS F6VE-B1 is a 13.3" desktop replacement notebook. Not content with making just another small form factor notebook, ASUS crammed in an Intel T9550 Core 2 Duo processor, 4GB of RAM, and an ATI Radeon Mobility 4570 graphics card into this 13.3"...

Great performance for a 13.3” notebook ; Keyboard is comfortable to type on ; Snappy Synaptics touchpad

Design feels dated ; Quality is not what you would expect on $1,299 notebook ; Tiny speakers

The ASUS F6Ve-B1 is a performance king among 13-inch notebooks, but there is room for improvement

ASUS F6V User Review

Over the years ASUS has developed into a globally recognized brand. The company retains its competitive edge by producing quality notebooks and pushing the market boundaries through new innovations. The F6V "scent-infused" notebook is a prime example...

ASUS F6V-3P182E

ASUS' new smellbook: is it scent-tastic or a bit of a stinker?

Wide array of expansion ports, looks attractive

Has an unpleasant smell (at least we thought so), speakers are too quiet

Even though we respect ASUS for being innovative with its notebook designs, the ASUS F6V-3P182E with its "musk" scent is too whiffy. But if you can get past the smell, a decent 13.3in notebook can be yours for $1599.

Asus F6V review

Maybe the most unique design we've seen, but it's not without its flaws

Powerful performance ; Individual designs ; Lightweight ; Great battery life ; Sharp screen

No software included

Good looking (and smelling) laptops with an impressive performance to match

Asus F6V Green, solid performance at a budget price

Smells like green spirit, and offers performance at a budget price. The ASUS F6V Green is a laptop with something a little different

Overall, it's got a decent amount of power for the price, and the features are solid, but the build quality isn't as good as we'd like and we'd suggest it's best used at home for basic entertainment needs.

Unboxed: pine scented ASUS F6V laptop

As we open the box it hits us, the unmistakable wafting scent of a pine forest, floating on the summer breeze and carrying away our troubles . . .

Asus F6A – Ready in 8 sec.

Cabinet ; Software bundle ; Design ; Gateway Express ; Performance ; Reasonable battery life ; Mobility

Keyboard ; Mouse

This laptop makes a good first impression; first and foremost, it seems robust and very durable. The included software bundle, bag, and manuals are particularly good, but the mouse could have been better. In addition, the Asus F6A has a fine design...

Asus F6V Green, solid performance at a budget price

Smells like green spirit, and offers performance at a budget price. The ASUS F6V Green is a laptop with something a little different

Speakers are built into the base of the screen, and a now-standard 1.3mp webcamera rests at the top. It's pitched as an entertainment system; the speakers are Azalia-compliant duplex, with 3D effect and although they're not outstanding, they're fine...
