Asus K52JT-XT1R

The well-equipped Asus K52JT-XT1R desktop replacement laptop packs in a quad-core processor, dedicated graphics card, and sub-$1000 price tag.

Quad-core processor. Dedicated AMD graphics. Big 640GB hard drive.

Jumpy touchpad. Chokes on high-end games.

Review Asus K52JR-SX059V Notebook

Core i3 Office Assistant. Intel's new processors are infiltrating

Quiet and cool; Good performance; Bright display

Very low contrast; Obtuse viewing angles; Yielding keys; High pitched sound; Short battery life

Core i3 alternatives with a stronger graphic are currently sparse. Gamers should look at Samsung's R580 Hawk (Nvidia GT 330M) or Dell's Studio 1558. Both have a stronger Core i5 processor. The Deviltech Fire DTX with ATI's newest HD 5650 is also worth...

ASUS K52Jr (K52JR-SX070V) notebook

ASUS K52Jr review: A 15.6in, Core i3 notebook with good graphics performance for the price

Good graphics performance for the price, stylish, good touchpad

Squished number pad, reflective screen with narrow vertical viewing angles, battery life could be a little better, no Bluetooth

The ASUS K52Jr (K52JR-SX070V) is a fine desktop replacement-style notebook with a manageable footprint that allows it to also be transported relatively easily between home and the classroom or office. It possesses good graphics power for its price and...

Decent While It Lasted

I am less disappointed with the failure of the laptop than i am the customer service of ASUS, talking tho them was a nightmare. They may want to hire more intelligent people who at least know what a heatsink is and not tell customers, "we do not offer...

An affordable machine that can run most modern games on low to mid graphical settings. Has decent boot times and overall a solid amount of power to do most things

Runs extremely hot and will eventually cause system crashes due to excess heat causing the BIOS to force a power down

Very Happy

Got this for my son. Runs great and looks great. Accidental damage warrant provides some peace of mind with a teenager using it

Bloatwae, as usual but it was easy to remove. Battery life is not great but reviews noted this so I was expecting this

It's still a computer

I thought with the Intel i7 Core processor this computer would blaze and run like a champ. Other than the boot up speed, this has been just a let down. It boasts a 1GB HD6370M Radeon Graphics card, and it too is a let down. I have an ASUS monitor and...

Fast boot up, runs real quiet

After coming back from hibernation or sleep mode, it won't connect to the internet again, I have to troubleshoot the problem before it reconnects ; WIth some videoes, the screen won't show a picture - just gray pixelation. The sound works, but you...
