Asus have delivered an "Ivy Bridge " processor at a competitive price point along with a very decent build quality ! Good overall performance and a dedicated Nvidia graphics card help this unit deliver a reasonable frame rate for those who want to play...

A 7200 rpm hard disk would have helped things along a bit .......but it is still a very good buy and will not disappoint !

Nice hardware, well designed. Keyboard idents could be better. Keys are difficult to see in reduced light.

Can't rate overall performance as have been unable to use this laptop in anger. Win 8 is such a pain that I'm on the verge of ditching it it for Win 7. This is not a reflection on the hardware just a terrible OS

Great value, fast

keyboard v light (doesn't bother my daughter for whom it was purchased) screen a bit flexible, but doesn't affect performance

Good performance for the price, although I did double the RAM and swap the hard disk out for a bigger one straight away to suit my own requirements.

Windows 8. Oh dear. Hopeless for low-speed internet connections and power users: possibly a bit insulting even. Finally managed to make it work like a desktop OS. Not sure if it might have been better to wipe it and install 7 instead.
