ASUS N50Vn-B1B

The ASUS N50n-B1B is an all-purpose desktop replacement laptop that has something for your entire family.

Good price point. HDMI-out and eSATA ports. Very 3D-friendly Nvidia graphics card. Good choice for a processor. 4GB of memory. Numeric keypad included.

Mouse buttons click loudly. An extended battery option is needed.

Asus N50vc review

It's entertainment heaven, with this surprisingly good-looking Blu-ray laptop. But can you justify the price?

Great connectivity ; Surprisingly lightweight ; Fantastic performer

Annoying additional apps ; Unsatisfying keyboard ; You might want something cheaper

The N50V certainly satisfies performance wise but we'd consider it over priced

Asus N50 15in laptop

The N50Vc offers a decent amount of grunt and some extras like Blu-ray, but it's let down by its low res screen and price.

Asus has come up with a nice-looking notebook, of that there's no doubt. But unless you're desperate for the frills - ionizer, Blu-ray drive, separate numeric keypad - you can buy a machine that's just as good a performer for less.

Better than an average laptop

I am sure mine is just defective but if you find yourself with one, you will be helpless. Laptop is good, just the company is lacking some values.

This laptop was better than most laptops I have owned. Performance was very powerful and I had no problems using it as a daily use laptop. Graphic card supported the games I played, and I had no issues with the overall gaming performance

Laptop made a screetching sound and I had to call tech support multiple times. Most tech support reps cannot speak english very well and you will get frustrated. I sent the laptop in 3 times (Once into the company and twice drove it 45 minutes to ASUS...

I will be buying Asus from now on for my laptop needs. This is better quality and price than most all other brands. Sleek look, not too heavy, great options.

Exactly as described / pictured. Excellent product thus far. Runs extremely cool. Number pad present on keyboard is a plus. Large comfortable keys with great speaker placement and good sound

4gb of RAM and no 64bit OS to take advantage. I formatted upon recieving and installed Vista Ultimate 64bit ; Works very well, no driver issues whatsoever

Netgear product is Absolute JUNK

This Piece of Junk dropped connection like hell. My router is only 6 feet from it. It dropped from 100 Mbps to 1 Mbps. The documentation and customer support from Trendnet is absolutely awful. You can't give a product 0 stars so that's why it gets 1....

Video skips when playing streaming off the web, but download the BIOS update and it should fix this. Loud/hard mouse clicker, so I usually touch tap the touchpad instead of an actual mouse-click (or use the mini-mouse the computer comes with!)....
