Silent, discrete graphics 2g, ram support totals out at 16g with 4 slots and comes with one 4g for easy upgrading. Generic Disc drive bay for easy upgrade. usb port placement is in optimal positions to the side of the palm rest. It only gets warm when...

So far the only thing I have found poor design is the power plugin port location. Need to make sure you unplug it before you take it from your lap and set it down anywhere

Extremely Fast, Great Price

 

In very near future i will upgrade to ssd and a bit more ram..

ASUS for life! i am upgrading from a core 2 duo lappy and trust me this laptop is super fast, no lag @ all ; Nvidia 550m is a monster, @ 2gb you can run almost any modern game...i love the fact that it has 2 graphics card ; 2.0mp camera is nice ; USB...

The power brick is a bit too big but what can you expect from the i7 2670QM processor ; A stronger keyboard with back light would be ideal, but it works for me ; Dont really like the multi gesture on the trackpad. i may need to tweak that...

Wow. A+

 

I ordered this particular model because of the 4GB of RAM being $400 cheaper than it's next model up. (I bought more RAM for $37.) I removed all the stupid junk programs (all that preloaded garbage) except for the ASUS recovery and Camera log-in...

Asus has done it once again. This laptop exceeded my every expectation. It's fast, everything worked, and no major issues

I just wish manufacturers would stop adding bloatware/junkware on new builds

Balanced

 

Over this is a sound investment for the money. Its a performance laptop very capable of gaming without shelling out for a gaming rig. Very pleased thus far.

i7 2670QM processor is a powerhouse. There is alot of value here for the money. The 550m GT is a great mid level card that has decent performance allowing you to play MMO's with above average settings with ease

The keyboard feels very cheap. I do not care for the travel, and no back light for low light situations. However with that being said its nothing I cant live with
