Asus N552VX-FY103T Notebook Review

Everything but battery mode, please. A successful build and configuration are omnipresent. Compared with its predecessor, the casing looks slimmer and that is a positive. Quad-core, GeForce GTX 950M graphics card and 8 GB of DDR4 working memory lead us...

not throttling in AC mode ; very good Turbo utilization in AC mode ; very good and quiet backlit keyboard ; very good touchpad ; very good screen ; low emissions and temperatures ; empty M.2 slot ; quad-core i7, 8 threads ; dual-band WiFi ; superb...

medium to high throttling in battery mode depending on application ; non-removable battery and low battery capacity ; Geforce 950M only with 2048 MB DDR3 ; M.2 slot not accessible via maintenance hatch ; no access to fan (disassembly needed) ;...

Nvidia's GeForce 950M graphics card alongside 2048 MB of DDR3 VRAM is not really suitable for ambitious gamers. Up-to-date games will require lowering the graphic details and/or resolution. However, all other application fields of the multimedia sector...

You don't need to spend £1,500 on a high-end gaming laptop to get solid gaming performance. The most desirable, most monsterous notebooks may make all the headlines, but it's the machines a couple of rungs down the ladder that provide the best...

Asus VivoBook Pro N552VW review - a great value do-it-all laptop

The Asus VivoBook Pro N552VW is big and heavy but it's good value for the specifications

Still, for around £900, you’re getting a decent 4K display, top performance and a respectable dedicated graphics card, making it a great all-rounder if you’re looking for a desktop replacement. Provided you’re happy with its heft and slightly poor...

Great 4k HD screen, and a very fast processing speed.

It really is a wieghty piece of kit and comes with a very bulky and heavy transformer. Not so easy to carry around. Battery life isn't great - but I guess that's the trade off for the great screen.

I wanted a portable powerhouse for music production, and first impressions are that it seems well up to the job. Screen is lovely, and I don't seem to have any problems with miniscule fonts that some report with 4k laptop screens.

Battery life does not seem great when on high performance settings.

Asus N552VW-FY094T

It handles pretty much any game you can throw at it brilliantly. Very good specs for the price, beautiful screen, doesn't overheat, silent, numeric keyboard, upper half of the case is beautiful.

clunky, short battery life, screen frame is made from cheap looking material, as well as the bottom of the case.. takes a while to get used to the "mac like" trackpad, doesn't seem like a laptop you can carry around for too long (although most people...
