Asus Vivobook X550LD

Nice laptop, good design with accurate touch screen. Upgraded to Windows 10 straight away which makes it even better. Good price for the spec as well. I have now bought 3 for colleagues and for work.

No Ethernet connection, Wi-Fi only.

Thin, light and attractive looking notebook. Has a good technical combination of processing power, RAM, graphics card and hard disc capacity. Additionally, the ports offer the older VGA and USB 2.0 connections with the newer HDMI, USB 3.0 and SD memory...

The amount of advertising offered around the Windows 8 apps. The mouse pad is very sensitive and would have preferred separate left and right mouse click buttons rather than them being embedded in the pad itself.

Charger didn't work Very weak materials, brittle casing is easily shattered. Cannot handle much of the force applied to it when typing/gaming

Excellent price for an i7, good graphics card. Handles heavy tasks pretty well - Illustrator, Photoshop - and a great design to go with it

More RAM would be great but does the trick
