Averatec 3715

This low-budget thin-and-light goes easy on your green.

Inexpensive; portable design; DVD burner; three USB 2.0 ports; Wi-Fi on/off switch; handy processor-downshift control.

Slow mobile performance; short battery life; undersized arrow keys; lacks multimedia controls.

Though the Averatec 3715 lacks the fast performance and the long battery life that power users will want, its light weight and low price will please budget-minded basic users.

Averatec AV3715-EH1

The lightweight design should impress your peers, and the price is affordable.

Nice design. 80GB hard drive. Built-in DVD burner. Light weight.

Poor software bundle. Not enough battery life.

Review: Averatec 3700 Laptop

When looking for a laptop you really have one major question to answer. Do you want power or do you want portability? Averantec's line of 13″ laptops lean more toward the portability, but they also offer enough power to watch movies and other simple...

I love this notebook

I,ve had this notebook for 6 months and I have to say that I am extremely happy with my purchase. I got it only for bringing backa nd forth to class with me, so I didn't need a powerhouse, that bein said, it still could be a little faster. The wireless...

Light, cheap, small, does everything I need it to

Could be faster, wireless isnt the greatest, no upgrade slots on bas, must crack open case to do anything

Great Service!

I loved the service I got from Averatec when I called their tech center. Their tech was curtious and was actually in North America!

Great Service

A little slow of a processor

Great Notebook

I think people are too negative about this company's service. I found the call center easy to deal with and I got through the queue in less than 2 mintues.

Lightweight, durable, great service (24 hours and toll free) ; I like the white color. It sets my unit apart from many of the other laptops out there

A little slow but not noticable when surfing online or doing word processing

Wolf in sheep's clothing

Dell is a nightmare these days, too. Probably, I'll buy a Toshiba, Sony, or Apple once I'm done with my dissertation (and can afford another laptop) and my desperate need for the Averatec is finally over.

Cheap. looks nice, has many functions

Hard drive problem at 9 months. I had to pay ~$300 to have it backed-up and restored by bxst_bxy. Averatec does not back up their dysfunctional hard drives. Then, after spending houres re-installing software and renaming old files (all the file names...

Great

Overall a great product. It is great for you business men out there on the go with its light 4lb weight. A great price too compared to the competition in this weight category. Although not for gaming, it runs AOE2 online also which my previous laptop...

I don't know what y'all are smoking but this thing runs great. It has run quite cool for me as things go for AMD and not the intel laptop I had before

There are the few issues that they don't send you the back-up CD and the graphics aren't for gaming
