Dell Studio S1535-125B review: Dell Studio S1535-125B

Dell Studio S1535-125B

Faster performance than other laptops in the same price range; 4GB of RAM; big 320GB hard drive; HDMI output, touch-sensitive media controls.

Bulkier than Dell's 15-inch XPS and Inspiron models; merely average battery life.

The Dell Studio S1535-125B impresses us with its leading performance in the sub-$1,000 category, thanks in large part to a speedy Intel CPU and generous memory allotment. Striking a fine balance between Dell's XPS and Inspiron lines, we recommend this...

Dell Studio 1535

Good style. High level of connectivity. HDMI. eSATA.

Screen could do with a bit of reinforcement. Dell's network tool is highly annoying. Unable to use the 4GB RAM due to 32-bit OS.

The Dell Studio 1535 is a good mid-range laptop that fills the gap between premium and mainstream, and offers good quality for the price.

And irritatingly, most laptops have no real way of differentiating themselves from everything else on the market. "How hard is it to make a laptop?" you might ask, and I'd respond with "by way of looking at a lot of the models out there, not very."...

Dell Studio 1535 laptop

I received my Dell Studio 1535 two months ago. I was particularly interested by the high perfomance of the latter (Intel Core 2 Duo @ 2Ghz, ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3450, 2Gb RAM) for a price more than correct (about € 700). I was very happy to find
