Dell Inspiron M101z

The $580 Dell Inspiron M101z is just big enough for me to use comfortably (my gigantic hands are like bear paws); and yet at 11.5 by 8.1 by 1.4 inches, it's small enough to slip into most bags.

Great keyboard and touchpad ; Powerful for its class

Somewhat pricey for its size ; Rather short battery life

Worth the cost if you want a small machine with a great keyboard.

Dell Inspiron M101z

The Dell Inspiron M101z has a netbook body, but is outfitted with parts that will please any cinema buff or novice video editor.

Very nice keyboard. Excellent navigating components. Fast hard drive. Lightweight. HDMI included. Plays back 1080p HD clips beautifully. Very good speakers for a little laptop.

Performance finished in the bottom. Battery life is not as impressive as its CULV counterparts.

Dell Inspiron M101z review: Dell Inspiron M101z

Dell Inspiron M101z

Dual-core processor in an 11-inch laptop; good keyboard and touch pad; much faster than similar-size Netbooks.

Upgraded components aren't cheap; limited graphics; merely average battery life.

Dell's latest take on the Mini line is a dual-core AMD-powered 11-inch system that leaves Netbooks in the dust in terms of both power and price.

Dell Inspiron M101z Review – Laptop Power in a Netbook’s Frame

The netbook fad is largely over. The tiny laptops that the public was so enamored with less than a year ago no longer dancing in the spotlight of mainstream news articles. Any text devoted to them is usually centered on arguments over the iPad's impact...

Dell Inspiron M101z review

This is usually the part of the review where I spell out the specs of a new laptop and explain how it fits in with other recent machines from the PC vendor. But I want to get something out of the way first: The Inspiron Mini M101z is the best budget...

Dell Inspiron M102z AMD Fusion netbook

Dell Inspiron M102z review: An 11.6in netbook with great battery life

Great battery life, HDMI, 7200rpm hard drive

Feels a little too bulky, body can creak slightly

Dell's Inspiron M102z makes use of AMD Fusion technology to deliver decent performance and great battery life in an 11.6in form factor.

Dell Inspiron M101z notebook

Dell Inspiron M101z review: An 11.6in ultraportable laptop that's affordable and useful for basic tasks

Small and light, good keyboard and touchpad, HDMI, decent performance, good battery life

Screen is too glossy, screen contrast isn't great, screen's lowest brightness level is still too bright

The Dell Inspiron M101z ultraportable laptop is small and light and offers decent performance for everyday tasks. It's the type of notebook you should consider if you want something that's about the same size as a netbook, but which offers better...
