Dell Latitude E5400 review

Dell's business laptop offers power and connectivity

Great build and usability ; Excellent value for money ; Good connectivity

Not very portable ; Could do with some more features for a business machine

It doesn't hit the spot for portability, but this business laptop is a good all-rounder

Dell Latitude E5400 notebook

Dell's Latitude E-series may not offer the most exciting laptops on the market, but they're reliable, strong and great for small, medium and large businesses. The Latitude E5400 sits towards the lower end of the range, with plastics used instead of...

Good value for money, outstanding keyboard, good screen and quality

Looks dull, bulky, lacks the high-end feel of more expensive machines

A good choice for corporate users on a strict budget, the Latitude E5400 is unlikely to excite, but it’s still a highly usable and well-made machine. Further backed by decent performance, a great keyboard and a useful amount of ports, it comes highly...

Dell Latitude E5400 review

First off, as is the case with most Dell notebooks, design matters. Despite its all-black industrial design, the Dell Latitude E5400's looks aren't lacklustre. With a metallic hinge and latch system, Dell has improved stability and security of the...

For a 14-inch laptop, the Dell Latitude E5400 weighs 2.56kg and is well worthy of your choice for a business laptop.

Can't beat the price

Some scuffs and scratches on the outside surface only. The screen was scratch free!

Received a better model than expected for the same price. Dropped more RAM on it and it is working great! =)

None thus far.

I would recommend to my wife she buy her own and give me back my lap top.

its a little scratched on the out side but inside its what one would expect from New Egg. windows 7 pro video excellent sound 85%( I put head set on it) pictures excellent what can i say that people would envision a used refurbished electronics machine...

simply horrible i m finding out now i should have bought one for the wife she dropped hers and broke it now shes using my back up. Whats a poor man to do when his wife can't respect his property.

In reply to Kyles review

While Kyle rated this laptop as a 1 it is unfair and not true. There are no heating issues,it's very stable and is a good investment for a non gamer. It's only con is no camera.

It's an affordable laptop that will do whatever you need aside from not having a camera. This is not a gaming machine

No camera

Works like a champ

Not worth the time, stress and hassle for an RMA.

Activation code was legit. Still working after a few weeks

the speaker doesn't work. runs hot and loud. Got the typical run around from the sellers rep
