The Eurocom D900C Phantom gaming laptop shows scorching performance, but its weight and price hold it back from greatness.

Extreme Edition desktop processor. nVidia SLI graphics. 1,920-by-1,200 screen resolution. Excellent performance numbers.

Features do not reflect the price. Bank-account-crippling price tag. Ho-hum design. Beastly weight. Loud fans.

Given the Phantom's spec list it comes as no surpirise that this is the fastest laptop we've ever benchmarked. The combination of a 2.66GHz Core 2 Quad desktop processor with a wide FSB and super fast DDR2 RAM, rockets it through productivity benchmarks.
