Lifebook P7230 Notebook - Pink

This pretty subcompact laptop offers great battery life but the slow speed characteristic of this genre.

Integrated DVD burner, Pink designer lid

Cramped touchpad and mouse buttons, Slow processor

If flying your pink proudly (via a light-as-a-powder-puff notebook) matters as much to you as getting work done, the Limited Pink Edition Fujitsu LifeBook P7230 might be all the notebook you need. But you value productivity, invest the $1679 (as of...

Lifebook P7230 Core Solo U1400 1.2ghz/2mbl2/533mhz/1gb/60gb/dvdmdl/gignic/abg/10.6"wxga/vb

The LifeBook P7230 is the lightest laptop we've seen that includes an integrated optical drive. It weighs 2.6 pounds, with a dual-layer DVD burner in place. Though the 2.4-pound Asus U1F has the edge in performance, the Fujitsu has a better keyboard,...

Long battery life Bright backlit LED screen

Difficult bay release

The LifeBook P7230 is a remarkable feat of laptop engineering: extremely light despite including an optical drive, and equipped with a nice little screen and a good keyboard. It's slow, but if e-mail, light work, and online researching on the go are...

Fujitsu LifeBook P7230

Attention, all you fans of the movie Legally Blonde, the Fujitsu LifeBook P7230 now comes with a hot-pink lid. This 2.6-pound ultraportable looks as darling as a teacup chihuahua peeking out of a tote. And the unit's battery life is like totally...

Fujitsu LifeBook P7230

The Fujitsu LifeBook P7230 is the only laptop below 3 pounds to have an integrated, modular optical drive.

Clad in white. Only 2.9 pounds. Integrated optical drive. You can swap in an extra battery in place of the optical drive.

Impractical keyboard. Meager performance. Slow hard drive.

Fujitsu LifeBook P7230

The Fujitsu LifeBook P7230 has an attractive design; it's lightweight; an Eco button lets you easily drop into low-power mode to extend battery life; includes optical drive.

Single-core processor means performance is limited; very small mouse buttons are annoying; 10.6-inch screen is smaller than that of most other ultraportables.

A sleek-looking ultraportable, the Fujitsu LifeBook P7230 will turn heads with its polished design, but its middling performance make it suited best for basic office tasks.

Review: Fujitsu Lifebook P7230 Notebook PC

The P is for pint-sized: Fujitsu's 2.9-pound pocket P7230 is quite possibly the lightest laptop on the market with an integrated optical drive. That's no...

Extremely handsome in solid black or pure white, free of the usual distracting trim flash. Despite shrunken size, keyboard is surprisingly usable. Nearly three-hour battery life on standard pack

Graphics are a no-show, causing big stutters on DVD playback. Speakers are weak and nearly inaudible when the loud fan kicks in. Core Solo CPU can’t hang with the big boys. 60GB hard drive needs a big upgrade. Minuscule mouse pad and buttons. Only two...

Fujitsu LifeBook P7230 Review

The P7230 is a follow up to last year's released LifeBook P7120.  The LifeBook P7000 series is known and loved by business people that need to take their work with them.  Fujitsu has updated the look with the latest offering, included a new OS in the...

Optical drive included in this size notebook is amazing ; Fantastic screen, very bright and just superb color depth ; Good selection of ports for such a small sized notebook ; Light weight, about 3lbs ; Great battery life, especially with the optional...

Fan is quite loud and runs persistently ; Keyboard keys pick up dirt easily, letters become discolored ; Lid tends to show scuff marks ; Slow performance due to processor, hard drive and resource hungry Vista ; No integrated WWAN (cellular...

The Fujitsu LifeBook  P7230 is certainly recommended for those people that need a small notebook for on the go.  It's a great little machine, whether you want it as a business tool or spinning a DVD to watch on the go
