RECOMMENDED FOR CASUAL/OFFICE USE.

Seems to handle vista fine even with 384mb left. Upgrade to 2gb recommended for extra boost. Not burned a dvd yet and not a gamer. Movies play smooth over my network. Cant expect a power house for this price ; VERY PLEASED

Get a laptop with nvidia or ati graphics on it, u will be much more satisfied.

Dual core Processor (1.60) and the 1gb dual channel ddr chip, have windows vista running perfectly. Good Speed and over all performance

No matter how bright the screen is the video quality is awfull, the previous 2 models come with the ati radeon graphic cards and Thier is a huge diffrence, i bought alot of gateways, and this intel integrated video is awfull, no detailed colors, the...

Gasteway laptop

 

This laptop have the most brillant color screen than I have ever seen, the crisp picture and sharp lines,even for a 15" screen. It is easy to handle and lightweight. Perfect for a student and school work

For 600 bucks specs are good. Remember you get what you pay for.

Software conflicts, speakers are terrible, optical drive is finicky.
