GRADE A1 - Acer Aspire 5820T

You're unlikely to find a Core i7 for this price anywhere else.

Been having problems with connectivity and slowdown in general performance on a fairly regular basis. Keyboard has a cheap, plasticy feel and the lip of the laptop isn't rounded which causes it to scratch on the palm/wrist when typing.

A good laptop for everyday use

Battery life not near as good as advertised

GRADE A1 - Acer Aspire 5820T

Fast and quiet, no complaints about performance and generally a good all-rounder.

Design could be a little better, frame around an overly refelctive screen is particularly flimsy. Battery life good, although less than advertised.

GRADE A1 - Acer Aspire 5820T

Great battery life and yet great performance when plugged in. Although you can't control the performance settings with a keyboard button (it's part of the power settings) it does exactly what you want it to do.

All of the ports are very poorly located at the front of the laptop so they, and all the cables, actually get in your way. The left shift button is shrunk for some reason, maybe to make space for the strangely enlarged shift on the right. But it's...
