Fans Seize

I was wondering why I noticed so many refurbs for sale.

Nice and small

Nice little notebooks but many people need to send them back for expensive repair just after warranty runs out - fans seize. I tossed mine and will not by Hannspree again

Great PC for the cost

Great PC for the $200 I paid for it, with a simple memory upgrade this little machine is amazing considering its not a full size PC / laptop. The full size keyboard (minus number pad) makes this perfect for paper writing and note taking. Was well worth...

Great price, great size, light weight, 802.11 N wireless. Was sad to see that New-egg discontinued this device. I have had it for several months now and have had zero operating issues. Picked it up while it was on sale for $199. Has been well worth the...

2GB of memory. But for the price I paid this is a very minor thing to complain about. Just bought a 4GB stick and have had no problems since. Built in web cam and mic stopped working shortly after purchase, Hannspree tech support didn't offer any thing...

Amazing for the money

Great little unit for the money. I've swapped out the hd for a 7200rpm 320 gb hard-drive, installed 4 gig of memory, installed Win7 ultimate 64, and it runs great. Also, since I am a developer, I've got SQL 2008 and Visual Studio 2008 running on this...

Size, screen resolution, 64bit dual core processor, battery life

Only one memory slot (not a big deal really)

Superb Netbook for the Price

Touchpad features a button to disable the touchpad. Almost required since my thumb frequently would swipe over the touchpad and highlight and accidentally delete text. Not really a plus or minus, kind of a feature to offset an inevitable issue....

Price - hard to find comparable performance in anything less that $500 especially when looking for 1366x768 screen instead of the horrible netbook sized 1024x600 screen ; CPU - Comes with dual core Pentium essentially Core 2 Duo ULV. Good power ; Build...

Warranty void if you change memory and/or hard drive. This is disappointing considering those are the two components most likely to be upgraded. Netbooks are perfect matches for a small SSD ; A bit on the heavy side, although I think it wouldn't be as...

Excellent netbook/laptop bridge machine

bought at a competitor, but currently newegg has the lower price.

The 12 inch 1366 x 768 resolution works well. Nice sharp resolution, with the same resolution that a lot of 15.6 inch laptops come with, minus the heft and size. Has a good dual core processor and runs Win7 32 bit easily, and would be a decent...

My only criticism is that the default color balance on the display is off, with an obvious blue tint, which is the reason for the 4 stars on the quality rating. Sort of surprising for a company which is best known for LCD monitors. After spending a lot...

Impressed

overall i was extremely pleased with this purchase, i would instantly recommend this to anyone looking for extreme portability and power, this net book has completely changed my work ethic and i am very pleased, also i did my research and found out...

all the pros have already been mentioned so i wont go into detail, except for the processing power of this little bad boy went far beyond my expectations, great buy

my 1 major con is that the touch pad is completely useless, i have used many touch pads in my day and i have to say that this one is by far the worst, aside from that though i agree that the lcd and just about everything else on this little net book...

OK computer

I echo with all the other reviewers about the pros of this computer. So I will not repeat

1. Mouse touch pad needs to be improved. Not sensitive at all. My fingers get tired from struggling with the pad ; 2. Fan is noisy. On Hannspree website they claim the processor is core 2, but Windows 7 does not show that. The noisy fan is due to the...

Very Good With Only a Couple of Complaints

For the money this is a great little computer. It is light, easy to use, relatively fast and tons of storage.

2GB of memory is great, as well as the 320 GB hard disk. The dual core makes the performance of this little guy very good even with on a 1.3 GHz clock. It is definitely faster than the 1.6 GHz single core machines that I have looked at. Win 7 runs...

Battery life is a little disappointing. They advertise at 6+ hours, but I have only been able to get about 4 hours. This is even in power save mode. I don't like how shiny it is. Fingerprints show quickly. I would like to see a matte finish on the LCD,...

Alot better than I expected! Handles games pretty good for size.

I decided to get a net book because I can take notes on it and watch power points during class. I still wanted to be able to have a little power so I can game very little, or watch a movie for those boring professors. Sofar, I Played Call of Duty MW2...

Powerful ; 2gb memory (As apposed to 1gb in most) ; Pentium SU4 Dual Core w/ 2mb cache (As apposed to Intel Atom w/ 1mb Cache in most) ; 320gb hard drive (as apposed to 250gb> in most) ; HDMI ; Very nice case that it comes with ; Decent Size...

Wish the Video card was a Nvidia Ion 2 instead of Intel GMA 4500MHD but its ok ; No Blue Tooth (Can buy ASUS Dongle instead) ; 5400 rpm hard rive
