I really like the look of the HP DV 9657. I'm new to Vista, and like that too. I'm very pleased with the machine, I'm not into gaming, and chose this product to watch tv on it, if I felt like it, edit, and store photo's and video's. Also, for music....

It seems to take ages to start, in fact, it's about 3 minutes. I don't know if this is normal or not. My desktop is a lot quicker. Even though it's less powerful.

Fast, reliable, great for what I need. Came with all accessories even thought it as reconditioned looked as new

TV tuner does not come with standard coax adaptor so you can only use the small antenna in the box - it won't pick up DVB in my area with that!

quicker than i thought it would be, faster than my mates 1.8 ghz core two duo hp. the screen is bright and clear and laptop was like new very pleased
