It does everything we wanted it to its a great home laptop

The LED screen is wonderful. Very deep, rich colours and noticing new depths to photos/videos that I'd never seen on LCD screen of my old laptop.

Laptop hard disk makes an unusual crackling noise. Appears to be a feature of whatever way this machine has been constructed and does start to grate after a while.

a bit slower than i was expecting

Large high resolution screen

The mouse pad is very sensitive and can be difficult to use

Initially kept dropping internet connection. Had to obtain new drivers for Realtec Wifi Adapter to overcome this. From entries on the HP Forum, this seems to be a common problem. Also having had to do a Factory Reset which failed, discovered that...
