HP 350 G2 L8B05ES Notebook Review

Low-cost all-rounder. Although HP's 350 G2 does not excel in any category, it is not disappointing, either. All in all, it is a basic 15.6-inch all-rounder at a good price-performance ratio that should satisfy the needs of most users.

matte screen, quiet operation, low temperature development, decent keyboard, maintenance hatches, good battery life, limited gaming suitability

12-month warranty only

The review sample we were provided with features a strong Core i5 processor that should have more than enough computing power for most potential users. The laptop is even gaming suitable - although only to a limited degree. The computer runs quietly in...

HP office class laptop - zippier with an SSD upgrade

We purchased several of these for teachers in a public school on July 1, 2015. The laptop comes with a Seagate 500GB drive and 4GB DDR3 Kingston RAM. We purchased these because of their relatively low price and features/ports. We immediately upgraded...

Low cost ; Fast with an SSD replacing the stock HDD ; Win 7 or Win 8.1 option (if you tike the time to install the Win8.1 from their provided DVD) ; Old-school VGA port (good for presentations using older projectors) ; DVD drive (which is harder to find)

Only a 4th generation Intel i3 (1.7GHz) ; No bling (but if you use it for work, that is not a problem)

Overall, a good vaslue

Overall a good machine. All other HP notebooks that we have are Pro Books, and that have metal casings that feel like they are put together much better than this one. For the price, it works well though.

Good specs, reliable, still has Win7

It feels very cheap with the amount of plastic on this model

HP 350 G2

Nice price for reasonable specs and a design that means ram, HDD and WiFi card are all easy access.

The 4gb ram was a little lacking. Also the WiFi card is quite slow. Lastly the laptop came with no driver's disk. Not the worst evil but still inconvenient tbh. But a quick look online for the drivers after a ssd install and ram upgrade and it runs...
