HP Compaq Presario SR1620NX

The Presario SR1620NX makes a good impression for a $500 PC, as long as you remember that it's a $500 PC. Welcome extras include an x16 PCIe slot and a nine-in-one media-card reader.

Well equipped for the price; PCI Express graphics slot allows for easy graphics upgrades; plenty of expansion room; decent software bundle.

Budget CPU limits performance; system comes with archaic ball mouse; onsite service not included.

The HP Compaq Presario SR1620NX makes a good impression for a $500 PC, thanks to welcome extras such as an x16 PCIe slot and a nine-in-one media-card reader.

Compaq Presario SR1620NX

The Compaq SR1620NX has a lot of appeal for entry-level users: price, decent performance, and the HP/Compaq brand name. The tech-savvy tinkerer will like the expandability and future-proofing technologies.

Dual-layer DVD writer. Good performance. DX9 graphics capabilities. FireWire ports. Seven USB ports. PCIe x16 expansion slot.

Lackluster 3D game performance.

don't miss the compaq presario sr1620nx's ratings and test results.

Compaq Presario CQ5110f

The Compaq Presario CQ5110f is the bargain desktop you should look at if you think nettops and netbooks are "too slow."

Inexpensive. Comes with dual core Athlon X2 processor. 3GB of memory. Nice styling.

Crapware. Limited internal expansion. Included Norton Internet Security has only 60-days of updates. Older integrated graphics. No digital media card reader.

Compaq Presario C500T Review

The total price was $400 for the notebook plus $35 (after rebate) for the 1GB stick of Crucial Memory. And Californian Tax

Pretty basic notebook for a nicly non-basic price ; Nice features for a budget notebook: wireless button, volume buttons, glossy sharp screen, brand name speakers ; The screen looks very nice, compared to the LCD monitors I have at home

Should have came with more than 512MB RAM ; MS Office 2007 was the ultimate annoying bloatware ; Screen Ripple ; Viewing angle inferior in my opinion

I would like to thank Compaq for placing the "Ctrl" key where it should be placed -- in the bottom left hand corner. The keyboard feels thin, it flexes everywhere, but mostly in the middle. However, I don't know what the big deal about keyboard flexing...

The Compaq Presario v2000z is a 14.1" screen thin-and-light notebook featuring an AMD Turion mobile processor. This laptop can be purchased for an extremely reasonable price of under $1,000 and for what you get with this laptop that's a great deal....

Hewett-Packard Compaq Presario V3832TU (FE061PA)

Good processing power for asking price, high quality speakers, doesn't skimp on features

Occasional reflectivity issues, integrated graphics chip, we didn't like the design

Despite its somewhat dull appearance, the Compaq Presario V3832TU (FE061PA) is bursting with verve and functionality. With the exception of hardcore gamers, it should satisfy all types of users.
