i have this note book v3000 and i have it just on 2 years and the motherboard gone in it.. not happy i would never buy another compaq

cost alot of money. they look good

not worth what i pay for it. over heats to fast and motherboard gone in it

never buy compaq products. They do a fraud business. I have too many problems post warranty period. they only design their products to last till warranty.

heats up very fast ; will have a problem with display after the warranty period

First, there is a recall for the MOBO, It took 3 days to get mine back, Have had the Labtop for two years now. I use it for everything without problems. A new Bios is availble that keep the fan running better no more overheating. I run thish with dual...

Fast does everthing I need photo and entertainment wise.

The Recall on the MB , but the extended recall will fix even after the warrenty runs out. Get the new bios with the fan alithogram much cooler. The recall thing took 3 days over night very impresive support.
