Poor Product

I will never buy another HP product!!!

It looked nice

The product had issues almost monthly. I had to use Google many times to solve many issues. Speakers, Signature enforcement, etc, etc.... HP support and the HP store are very bad to deal with. I needed a part and the continuously sent the wrong part....

Excellent product for the price

4 Gig ram ; 14.1 ; excellent look and feel ; Windows 7 ; good graphics card with HDMI

Gets little warmer, may be because of the AMD processor, not sure though

A nice computer for an above average computer literate person

Should allow installation of other OS without affecting Windows installations.

Excellent features and configuration at very low price, which includes even bluetooth and HDMI. I got this computer for $399 on a sale. Nice key pad

DVD drive is bit noisy and creates a sort of vibration. But it is not that a big problem. I haven't read any review pointing out this ; Do not allow side by side Linux installation. You have to create a partition manually using Gparted for e.g., before...

big things come in little packages

Basically, after I wiped this puppy clean and installed win7 pro x64 on it - it became an awesome laptop. It was a lot more snappy and responsive. HDMI out is just an ingenius addition. Great for when you want to go on vacation and watch dvds in the...

dual core proc ; 4gb of ram ; 7200 rpm hdd ; a real video card ; hdmi out is amazing ; remote control

gets decently hot ; bloatware to the extreme; ends up bogging the whole system down

Good deal

Definitely a great deal for $450. Even $550. Haven't had any problems with it yet... but I am scared of the heat issue. I suggest you use it on a flat surface, at ALL times. Definitely get a cooling pad.

Got it for $500 - $50 rebate ; 4 GB RAM ; 320 HD ; 14 in. display ; decent processor ; GPU better than standard integrated ; decent battery life ; cool webcam

gets pretty hot ; heavy for a 14 in ; touchpad is meh

Fingerprint magnet, HP MediaSmart Webcam keeps causing problem. where to start... as soon as I finished the initial setup - removing factory installed Norton, 60-day trial office, installed MS security essentials -, I ran HP MediaSmart Webcam. Not...

Great Laptop at Sale Price

i don't know what others are complaining about but heat is not an issue ... if you do have an issue you can always opt for a less agressive power profile and/or get a laptop cooler

small size ... full featured ... great fit and finish ... impressive details

as has been mentioned -- bloatware

Broke Already

New stuff should always work if QUALITY CONTROL is in place. No QC here and now, now, I have to wait for 5 days while the genius at HP customers service "mails" me a system disk. When if this is normal, he says it often happens. FIX IT HP before it...

Nice looking computer for the price

Looks nice but won't boot. Disk Manager said to insert systems disk and repair operating system. BRAND NEW computer and now I have to fix it

Suprised!

5 stars without the 2 hours of bloatware to uninstall. Initial startup had **80** (EIGHTY) processes running... and that was before windows updates added the regular additions. HP...that is just rediculous... I'm ridiculing you for it right now!

Inexpensive -- hardware to price equation is great ; Still can't believe how responsive this thing is for the hardware... the remote control is so responsive with Media Center, too. Many other pros

HP... your bloatware has hit a new level. It's not funny to us anymore, quit it
