After checking numerous owner & tech forums, it appeared many others had the same or similar problems. And, to make it worse, many report that HP routinely blames the user for misuse, and try to charge them for repair even though it's under warranty...

We shall see how awful or great this warranty process is, I will update.. right in the beginning of school, it crashes, kind of throwing a big monkey wrench into my life atm... I'd recommend it,it would have been better if the touch screen worked...

My HP Envy Laptop has been total wiped clean back to manufactures settings 4 times and they have replaced the Mother board twice! I can't store anything exclusively on my laptop because I am waiting for it to crash again. HP will not replace it they...

This laptop is excellent quality at a very good price. It is simple to use and has some amazing features, including touch screen. I am very pleased and would give 5 stars

I must say, for all the HP notebooks I have owned, was most disappointed with this one. I will be returning it. My biggest beef is with the display. The colors are completely washed out. Touch screen works ok though. My other beef is it is quite large...
