HP G62-104SA

Does everything you need from a laptop and at a good price. Like the slightly patterned cover and overall size.

The laptop screen has a glossy finish which makes it very difficult to use in anything other than a darkroom. My wife has a Dell laptop which has a matt screen finish, this works much better. This is the only disappointing thing about the machine but...

CPU is fast enough for daily task. Graphics is suitable for watching HD movies. No signifcant delays in opening applications. Battery life is good.

Surface can be a little bit hot if it is used for a long period of time.

I3 processor, windows 7 & a good price.

Case is an acquired taste, could benefit from more ram and it uses an unusual connector for the digital audio output.

Great price for an i3 laptop in July 2010. Pleased with the build quality and like the textured styling of the case and intergrated mouse pad.

No bad points for the money.
