HP Pavilion 17-x110ng Notebook Review

17-inch multimedia notebook! Multimedia laptops are very versatile systems. HP offers a solid basis with a Kaby Lake processor and a discrete GPU. How does the package work?

good system performance thanks to a fast processor ; low temperature development ; no thermal throttling of the processor ; display with wide viewing angles ; matte screen ; moderate system noise ; low weight despite 17 inches ; optical drive available...

no keyboard illumination ; cannot handle all games, despite dedicated GPU ; missing maintenance hatch ; low WLAN performance ; only 256 GB storage ; no HDD ; very slow SD-card reader

HP's 17-inch multimedia notebook Pavilion 17-x110ng currently retails for 699 Euros (~$750). It is equipped with a combination of Intel processor and AMD graphics card inside an inconspicuous black plastic chassis. The Intel Core i5-7200U is a modern...

HP Pavilion 17 FHD V3A33AV Notebook Review

Loud gamer. It's got the looks of a multimedia notebook and the GPU of a gaming machine. While versatile, the system runs much louder than your standard Ultrabook even during low loads.

bright display; good colors without calibration ; M.2 and 2.5-inch SATA III storage options ; good battery life; Optimus support ; fast CPU and GPU performances ; removable battery ; optical drive

no G-Sync, Macro keys, USB Type-C, DisplayPort, NVMe, or Thunderbolt 3 ; display lid could have been more rigid ; poor touchpad; small Arrow keys ; user-unfriendly serviceability ; loud fan noise

The latest Pavilion 17 walks a fine line between being a multimedia notebook and a gaming notebook. It's more powerful than what its modest plastic design would otherwise suggest and is relatively portable considering its screen size. This makes the...

Good bang for buck

The processor is on the slower side but if all you do is surf the web and type papers/email it is more than enough and is a great value. Would buy again,

Awesome for school work. Battery last a long time. Does NOT heat up or burn my lap AT ALL. Big screen. Back-lit keyboard is nice.

The mouse - I hate it! ...then again I hate all laptop mice. I use an external mouse so no eggs off here.

I hope this is just Windows 10

At this point I can't tell if I'll be happy with this purchase. I've been an HP user for years, this is my third HP and they typically last me for 4 years. Our relationship is not off to a good start however, and while I want to put all the blame on...

Out of the box I fell in love with this computer - I LIKE the color, the screen size, the extended keyboard.

Within 2 days, I was locked out of this computer and could not get in. Going online, I found a number of people who had a similar problem with Windows 10. After trying, with no success, to create and use a reboot jump drive, I ended up paying to have...

HP Envy This!

I give this HP Envy laptop an 8 out of 10, mainly because I am very happy with it, but dislike the mouse pad.

My refurbished HP Envy laptop arrived on time and as specified. I am very happy with its features and quality. I am especially happy with it having a DVD drive/burner & a fingerprint reader for easy login & password control. The lighted keyboard is of...

I was disappointed that the computer indicated that the power charger did not have the needed ability to keep the laptop charging correctly. I call with HP Support corrected this problem & it has not been an issue since. I dislike the mouse pad and...

Great Laptop!

This is my first laptop so I have been trying to educate myself on laptops for the last month. I have been trying to get a good deal, good specs and fingerprint scanner ; This laptop has surpassed my expectations. Even though i was very skeptical about...

A Champion

After using the ink HP 17 cartridge in my printers for a long time I am happy to say that it is really good and safe to use. Also has remarkable longevity.

Good computer

We bought this for a home business, and it seems like it will work fine, the only recommendation would be to get a wireless mouse. The pad is very sensitive and harder to use.
