HP Pavilion dv7 review: HP Pavilion dv7

There's a lot to like about the HP Pavilion dv7-6b55dx. It's not that it's an extraordinary laptop or anything, and maybe I'm just too used to seeing ugly, cheap-looking Windows laptops at its price, but the dv7 looks and feels much better than its...

The HP Pavilion dv7-6b55dx is a nice-looking big-screen laptop with long battery life and very good performance for the money.

The dv7's screen is low-resolution for its size and its integrated graphics drag down the performance some.

If you're looking for a lot of screen real estate and enough power for work and play, the HP Pavilion dv7-6b55dx is a good place to start.

HP Pavilion dm3-1130us

The HP Pavilion dm3-1130us is a sweet looking ultraportable that offers decent performance, but its battery life is another story.

Attractive aluminum case. Discrete graphics. Solid keyboard.

Battery life could be better. No optical drive. Stubborn mouse buttons.

HP Pavilion dm3-1002 review: HP Pavilion dm3-1002

HP Pavilion dm3-1002

Tremendous battery life; solid brushed-metal construction; better-than-Netbook specs.

No optical drive; ULV processor still lags behind higher-end systems; uncomfortable touch pad; some configs can be expensive.

With a rock-solid feel and a whopping 7-plus hours of battery life, the HP Pavilion dm3-1002 is a professional-looking thin-and-light, but depending on what you put in it, it could cost you.

HP Pavilion dm3-1030us

The HP Pavilion dm3-1030us has a sleek yet sturdy design, but its performance could use some improvement.

Sleek, lightweight yet sturdy design. Lengthy battery life. Comfortable keyboard.

Woeful application performance. No optical drive. Glossy touchpad doesn't provide the best feel.

Review: HP Pavilion dm3

Looking for a notebook that's just as affordable as it is fast? Have a gander at the dm3 from HP. Just pay no mind to...

Slim, stylish and sturdy. Outstanding keyboard. Four USB ports (plus HDMI and an SD card slot) is a rarity in a machine this portable. Battery is graced with amazing life

Awful, awful touchpad (it’s an ongoing problem with HP Pavilion notebooks.) At 4.2 pounds, heavy for this category. Careful you don’t step in the shovelware

HP Pavilion dm3t

The brightness levels and viewing angles of the dm3t's 13.3-inch screen are better than those of the Toshiba T235-S1350, but not the MacBook Air 13-inch. There's plenty of screen estate for a good spreadsheet and multi-tab Web browsing experience,...

Outstanding battery life. Big battery included. Backlit keyboard is unheard of in a $600 laptop. Lightweight. Clean design. Excellent keyboard. CoolSense keeps the laptop cool

It won't do any heavy-lifting. Clickpad isn't for everyone

The HP Pavilion dm3t is an exemplary CULV-equipped laptop, as it is lightweight and lasted over 8 hours in battery tests.

HP Pavilion dm3t Review

The Pavilion dm3 is a CULV thin and light notebook series from HP that includes both the AMD-based dm3z and Intel-based dm3t. This notebook packs a 13.3-inch screen, optional integrated WWAN, an optional matching external optical drive, and a wide...

Great build quality ; Very good thermal performance ; Excellent keyboard

Touchpad design could have been better ; Some possible driver-related glitches ; The HP Pavilion dm3t offers plenty of options no matter if you want a basic configuration or a model with a fast processor and dedicated graphics.

Pure Subnotebook Entertainment With a Graphics Boost. HP is relea

Comfortable single-keys keyboard; Range of ports; External USB-DVD-LW included in delivery; Good application performance

Glossy display; Surface of the touchpad

Small, low-cost entertainers in the 13.3-inch format. Indeed not all devices offer a range of equipment with a digital video interface in this price range. Under 1000.- Euro there's the Lenovo Thinkpad SL300, the Samsung Q320, the MSI X-Slim X340...

HP Pavilion DM3-1340EV

Retailing for US $600 the DM3-1340EV is an ultra-portable notebook that targets cash strapped buyers

If the lack of an optical drive isn’t a deal breaker, the dm3-1340ev is a fantastic notebook to travel with. Considering its $600 asking price it is exceptional value-for-money.
