HP Pavilion DV2 1001AU

For a 12-inch laptop we'd expect more performance and features than we're getting, but there are obviously compromises to be made in making ultrathin affordable.

Reasonably light, Larger screen and keyboard makes life easier, Neo CPU definitely more powerful than Atom

Not powerful enough for HD Flash video, Windows Vista Home Basic bogs things down, Air vent at bottom left, No ExpressCard, 802.11g/100Mbit only, VGA out only, Low battery life

HP Pavillion dv2 review

From the metal piped trim around the edges of its chassis to the slick and solid feel of the keyboard, the design of the HP dv2 wouldn't be out of place on a super-pricey super-portable like the Sony Z-series. And yet the basic specification of this 12...

HP Pavilion dv2 review

There’s a promising compact laptop at heart here, with better than netbook performance, a slightly bigger and higher resolution screen, and great keyboard. Sadly it’s let down by very poor battery life, in a laptop that ought to run cooler and...
