HP Pavilion dv2633XT Special Edition 'Verve'

Excellent design. Solid build. HDMI. Better than usual speakers. Right features for the right price.

Only two USB ports. No visual indicator of volume. Huge graphics driver download. Bundled crapware getting a bit much. Could have better battery life. No HSDPA.

The Verve is near perfect -- though it wouldn't hurt HP to squeeze out a little more battery life, thin out the crapware and to start supplying some realistic driver downloads.

Good computer

Looks pretty, holds lots

Mine gets too hot and turns itself off, which causes me to sometimes lose work. Not happy

HP Pavilion dv2633XT Special Edition 'Verve'

I love my 'disco diva' + I got her for £499 instead of £699 cos she was ex display - a steal!

She is truly beautiful, light portable and with lots of groovies- like built in webcam and fingerprint recognition

Loaded all my stuff onto her and suddenly realised \i'd had no sound! Checked it out and found 'no audio device installed' message! Went back to factory settings about 4 times and downloaded some updated drivers from the website now she's PERFECT

HP Pavilion dv2633XT Special Edition 'Verve'

When I opened my new verve the other week I was distressed to be welcomed with a blue screen. Over the next 3-4 days it blue screened randomly about 5 times, I took it back to the retailer, and it was found to have a hardware default. HP replaced it...

Build quality is second to none, plenty of features, light weight and very portable, nice design, good customer support, lightscribe optical drive is pro

In-built bloatware, battery life is a bit meh, prone to finger prints and scratches

HP Pavilion dv2633XT Special Edition 'Verve'

I have 1...i love it...but if u asked me whether u should buy it or not ..i would say not..i bought it becuase of its looks at a time i didn't know anything about laptop. if i was going to buy a laptop now i wont buy this 1..i would buy Asus or Toshiba

It looks nice. and has everything most other laptops at the same price range would offer

Gets extremely HOT...This is REally terrible .Has 2 Usb port which is bad..and the graphic card can be better...if u compare to Asus which u can find a 8600Gs for a much lesser Price
