HP Pavilion DV6525EA

Very ergonomic machine on the whole. Very sleek lines & the outer design is outstanding. Lovely closure mechanism, not clunky at all. Nicely spaced out keyboard with nice touch response to the keys. Lovely DVD writer performs beautifully & lightscribe...

The placing of some of the ports, (USB, power connector) could have been better. They feel a little close together. Also, the onboard volume could be a little louder. I often connect up my speakers, especially if listening to music. Other than that, a...

Screen size and resolution is great, looks good and is very slim. keyboard is a qood size for typing. Excellent hard drive and RAM for the money.

Battery life is not quite what I had expected. Lasts about and hour and half when watching movies

Stylish, clean design. Easy to use keyboard. Bright and good resolution screen

Windows Vista not a great improvement. Sometimes hangs up. Don't like the way MS have supplied Word and Excel 2007 only on trial basis. I will stick with my 2003 versions

Good design at a very competitive price, feels much more solid than some of its competitors. Built in webcam is very easy to use and produces good quality pictures. Processor very quick, loads up Vista within minutes. Would definitely recommend this...

Battery only seems to last a couple of hours on the recommended setting although there are options to adjust settings. Metal mouse pad can sometimes prove annoying as one complete stroke only seems to move the cursor a short distance. One USB port...

This laptop is packed with so many features, high quality speakers, webcam, remote control( for the dvd), card reader, glossy wide screen and more, I still can't get over it. The design is very good and looks more expensive than it is. Truly excellent...

Power cable fits into right hand side of unit and is prone to snagging, would prefer it to go into the rear. Battery life is adequate but not great. The Norton suite is a limited trial edition which should be for 60 days but when activated only gives...

Good value. Good spec for the money (including 2GB RAM, which is the sensible mimimum for Vista, but other models at this price come with only 1GB). Remote contol is a neat feature.

Lack of a catch to hold the lid shut.
