Great Tablet PC for the price

For the price of the computer, you can't really beat it. People always ask me how much I spent, and they end up telling me they spent as much (or more) on their computer, and wish they had gotten this one.

Way too many people complain about how bad these are. You're not spending over $2k on a tablet, this was meant to be cheap so hp cut costs somewhere (which is why it's plastic and has an AMD processor). I have a customized one from hp (only differences...

At full CPU load it's fairly loud, I've gotten use to it though

One should be wary when buying a HP Tx series laptop

cheap

There is a design flaw in these computers, a quick Google search and a look over at HP's forums will reveal such information. Thousands of people complain about these machines and HP refuses to do anything

great computer

The advice was given to buy the extended warranty...

Everything

The placement of the media center buttons constantly has me opening the programs when swiveling to tablet configuration. Not really a big deal

great computer

The advice was given to buy the extended warranty... I did just that when I got mine but not because I was worried about the durability of the machine (my mom is still running her 5 y/o hp laptop) but because I am a smart buyer. I have had countless...

Everything ; This is a nice setup but I bought direct from HP with more options ; To give people an idea what this machine is capable of here is a list of programs I run ON A REGULAR BASIS ; CS3/CS4 great with tablet!!(Often 5 at once Photoshop 64(with...

great pc so far

I bought the 2510us back around 12/20/08, but so far as I can tell the only difference is 0.1GHz of speed and 1GB of RAM. Since mine was discontinued, I have to leave my review here.

Very light, very small, very powerful, touchscreen is GREAT

It gets hot, but I bought the zalman cooler b/c I read that was an issue. Since we use it for light tasks, no gaming, we haven't experienced any of the more serious heat issues and other complaints listed here. Basically just throw in the extra $50 and...

The worst notebook i have ever owned

If you are going to buy this computer make sure you get an extended warranty because you will use it.

At first this laptop is a lot fun. I enjoyed the size and the touch screen. Fast wireless

This is a warning though to anyone who might want to buy an HP Pavilion TX Series. It runs hot and after a year my wireless quit working. After a year and a half my motherboard went out. I have only had the thing for a year and 5 months. I have never...

good laptop

I just bought it for my sister, I would recommend a better laptop for fast performance applications or gamers.

good laptop, kind of handy due to its size and weight. For games it has a fair video card. I could play Call of duty 5 ok in a normal resolution

it doesn't have any HDMI/DVI output. It started to work a bit slow after hibernation, I will consider restoring the system after only 1 month of having it

Very nice - but not great

Overall, I really like this tablet. Graphics, processor, tons of memory and disk space. It's pretty speedy.

I love tablets. I previously owned an HP TC1100, but it started becoming obsolete. I purchased this tablet because of the specs, and because it's a tablet. It very powerful, and can run anything I've thrown at it so far. The finger print reader is...

Touchscreen doesn't work very well. I can't calibrate it so I can get to the very top or very right end of the screen. I normally have the touchscreen feature turned off when I use the pen, because it causes issues when I rest my hand on the screen

I love my little Laptop

I love this computer it is great for note taking, and it does everything I ask of it which is a lot because I am a computer science student.

I love the Electronic part of the touch screen it makes it easy to use the computer in places where I would not normally be able to use it, and it is great for taking notes

The manual touch screen is not very accurate no matter how many times I calibrate it. The computer also can get very hot and cause it to freeze and randomly restart, but this only happens when I am using a heavy amount of graphics
