had compaq before and it served well for 10 years so another compaq was obvious choice. its a lovely wee beast! haven't find anything to complain about.

just the mouse buttons - they are right on the edge and sometimes get pressed accidentally when manipulating comp about.

It's a generally good value laptop, especially since it was so (relatively) cheap.

The position of the mouse buttons is awkward; they're right on the front edge so it's quite easy to click things by accident when carrying the laptop (say, from one room to another.)

Good battery life, seems well made, large bright screen, decent speakers and good performance from a cheap laptop

The F keys need the fn key pressed to work and there's no fn lock. Power and disk lights are on the side so not easy to see.

As a new user of Laptops (previously used desktop) am slowly finding my way around, with a little help from a more experienced family user. I would say I am happy with the product.

It is functional/useful. If you need just a laptop to do things that you can not do with an ipad (ie download pictures, use excel, open pages that apple would not open, etc) this is ok.

The speed of the computer does not seem to be great - we just bought it and havent downloaded things yet and it definitely does not stand up for his speed (I am not talking about the speed of the internet, but about the time the computer takes to do...

I had wanted a laptop which had a screen that was able to swivel and lay flat over the keyboard and then use a stylus to navigate around the screen but this is a VERY minor issue.
