This is a downgraded windows 7/8. The machine is Awfully Slow. It has the processor, the memory, but its the slowest windows 7 laptop I have ever had

Really great price, even came with a carry case that retails for ~£20 which was a nice bonus. Ubuntu runs really nicely on the hardware which is great given the pretty low spec processor. The hard drive size and RAM size are also very good for the...

The keyboard is a bit clunky but for the price not much of a complaint.

Cheap for what you get. Looks good. Battery is not bad for if you are on the move, or using it for University lectures and the like. Nice to see a laptop without Windows on it for a change.

The touch pad ends to jump up and down the page occasionally when using the two finger scroll function. As would probability be expected when in use like playing sound and video the battery life runs out a little faster than it says it would in the...

Made to a price but does what I want it to do perfectly. Love the idea of having an alternative OS to windows and Ubuntu is great!

Keyboard feels a bit flat.

Give me a matte screen over a gloss one every time, no reflections! Blacks is black as well. Hand rest comfortable and keys have a nice sprung response, little wobble. Battery is 5 hours from fully charged (and new). Leaving it on suspense will drain...

Minor gripe: Low battery warnings in use are OK but finding no indicator light nor response to the on button gave me a fright first time round when I left the "on" status in suspense mode. Plug in and its live again.

I immediately upgraded from the ubuntu 12.04 build to 14.04 but the touchpad stoppoed working and no fix is available on the forums. Did a new install of 12.04 and all is fine except the funtion to lock the touchpad with a double-tap is now not...

Doesn't have Windows, love Ubuntu, it is so easy to set up wireless, printers, everything. Quick start-up and shut down, amazing.

The very smallest niggle, the mouse pad is not smooth and it takes a little while to get used to it.
