Excellent for businesses on a tight budget. Remarkable battery life with either the six- or eight-cell battery. Wide, bright screen. Stylish keyboard. Numeric keypad included. Security software for businesses with no IT staff. 3G modems are available....

Picks up smudges outside and in. Frame seems hollow when you tap on it

The HP ProBook 4510s is an excellent small-business laptop thanks to its price, battery life, and security software, but make sure you have a cloth handy to wipe away all those fingerprints.

A great price for a 15.6" business notebook ; Nice keyboard ... despite some flex ; Attractive design and relatively light weight

Not-so-great build quality ; Custom configurations are overpriced ; Touchpad buttons are just plain horrible ; Too difficult to upgrade

Bottom line, the HP ProBook 4510s is a fine notebook for its intended market, but if HP made a few simple changes to the design and purchase options then business buyers would have even more reasons to buy this laptop

HP's latest business focussed notebooks have a new name and a new look. With plenty of power and a good price, are these the best machines for your business?

Decent looks and lots of power are let down only by the low-res screen, but this is still well worth a look.

This laptop has all the technical things my wife could want - DVD, good screen, reasonable battery and performance etc. She really likes it

While the laptop is good, there were some things that have been commented on: 1) keyboard - the letters printed on the keys are a bit dark 2) Trackpad mouse is not centered as the keyboard has a num-pad on the right hand side

Liked all the features, possibly the the best laptop I've own so far, this being my fourth.

No telephone jack socket! Reasons 1) I have the need to send some of my reports via fax. 2) Also not always able to find wireless or ethernet connection Not a major problem, but means have to keep customers waiting untill wireless/ethernet connection...
