HP Spectre x360 14 review: The convertible 2-in-1, perfected

The HP Spectre x360 14 makes good use of its 3:2 aspect ratio and OLED display, and it's well-built and performs well to boot.

Spectactular 3:2 OLED display ; Quite speedy in Performance mode ; Surprisingly decent battery life given the display ; Awesome keyboard and touchpad ; Elegant and modern good looks

Requires some management to balance performance and fan noise

HP’s Spectre x360 14 review: the best 2-in-1 you can buy

Pricey, but worth every penny.

Beautiful design ; Great battery life ; 3:2 display with OLED and 1,000-nit options

It’s not cheap ; Touchpad is a bit stiff ; Comes with some bloatware

HP’s new Spectre x360 14 is, in typical Spectre fashion, one of the most beautiful laptops you can buy. But this year it comes with a new secret weapon: a roomy 3:2 display.

HP Spectre x360 14 Review

High-fashion styling ; Dazzling OLED touch screen with 3:2 aspect ratio ; Handy shortcut keys and utility software ; Rechargeable pen and carrying sleeve in box ; Lively performance (apart from gaming)

No HDMI port ; No LTE mobile broadband option ; No sign of the 007 SPECTRE octopus logo

Its tall OLED screen and swank, thoughtful design vault the HP Spectre x360 14 to the top rank of convertible laptops.

HP Spectre x360 14 review: Luxurious, with long battery life

The HP Spectre x360 14 is the first of its family to sport a 3:2 display. It also delivers sizzling performance and great battery life.

Sizzlingly fast multi-core performance ; Gorgeous 3:2 display ; IR and fingerprint biometrics ; Physical camera shutter

Feels a bit heavy at nearly three pounds

The HP Spectre x360 14 comes with just a handful of ports, but they’re the right ones. As with previous Spectre laptops, there’s an angled Thunderbolt port on the rear right corner, only this time we’re talking , which guarantees support for two 4K...

HP Spectre x360 14 review

The Spectre x360 14 is the 2-in-1 laptop in its most elegant form

Striking, luxurious design ; Gorgeous OLED and FHD display options ; Long battery life ; Comfortable keyboard ; Large, responsive touchpad

Pricey ; Unwieldy as a tablet ; RAM maxes out at 16GB ; Too much bloatware

HP's strikingly gorgeous Spectre x360 14 combines elegance with powerful performance, gorgeous visuals and long battery life.

HP Spectre x360 14 (2024) review: OLED convertible promises much, and delivers

This vibrant 2-in-1 has a lot to offer at home and in the office.

Great screen ; Responsive in use ; Stylus in the box

No discrete GPU ; Heavy as a tablet

The HP Spectre x360 14 (2024) 2-in-1 is a classy operator, especially in the high-spec trim we’re reviewing here. The OLED touchscreen is responsive, the internal components have plenty of grunt, and there's a stylus in the box rather than being a...

HP Spectre x360 14 OLED review

OLED awesomeness, 2-in-1 functionality and decent performance in a supremely portable and long-lasting package

Stupendous OLED display ; Great battery life ; Genuinely usable tablet functionality

Not exactly cheap ; Limited graphics power ; Merely adequate speakers

HP’s 13.5-inch 2-in-1 convertible laptop is something seriously special thanks to its utterly stellar, but also slightly flawed, 3K2K OLED display. Add in excellent build quality, a touchscreen with inking support plus an input pen, and you have a...

HP Spectre x360 14 (14-ea1000) review – its OLED panel is simply fantastic

The years go by, and the gap between HP's Spectre and Envy series grows smaller and smaller. As a result, the latter is getting more appreciated by the wide public, and slowly but surely, it …

Sleek aluminum design with a great feel;Full sRGB and DCI-P3 coverage with great color accuracy in both (Samsung SDC4148);Pen and sleeve inside the box;Fingerprint reader and optional IR face recognition sensor;Decent performance;2x Thunderbolt 4 +...

PWM below 90 nits (Samsung SDC4148);Gets loud during extreme loads;Memory is soldered to the motherboard

Laptops of this caliber have one thing in common – they never let you upgrade their memory. On the bright side, more and more devices with soldered memory (and even more so, such that come as part of Intel’s Evo platform) feature quad-channel setups....

HP Spectre x360 14 review

This 2-in-1 laptop combines beauty, brawn, and brains to create the ultimate entertainment center and workhorse.

Excellent sound quality ; Stellar display ; Intuitive touchscreen and pen controls ; Ultra portable

Very expensive ; No 10-key option ; Pen input finicky for left-handed users

While the price is steep, the top-notch components are worth the extra cash in order to keep up with current and next-generation graphics and processing needs as well as internet and wireless connectivity.

HP Spectre x360 14 review: OLED, quad speakers, and a whole lot of awesome sauce

If you take the best of HP's premium Spectre line of Ultrabooks and put it all into one laptop, you get the new Spectre x360 14. With incredible audio, an OLED display option, a pen in the box, and all the latest Intel 11th Gen features, the Spectre...
