Lenovo Essential G570 review: Lenovo Essential G570

Lenovo Essential G570

The ; costs less than many of its competitors with similar components, yet displays just enough of Lenovo's famed design quality to not feel cheap.

This is still a plastic laptop, and you can get a higher-quality IdeaPad for just a little more. Configuration options are limited.

The Lenovo Essential G570 is a surprisingly good deal for a 15-inch Core i5 laptop, but offers few frills.

Lenovo G570 Review: A Low-Cost Champion

Part of the Lenovo G-Series line, the Lenovo G570 is a budget-priced 15.6-inch notebook That offers performance and a solid build quality to make it a very decent low-cost entry-level system for consumer applications.

Good performance ; Great keyboard ; Very decent audio ; Solid chassis build quality ; Good battery life

Washed out display ; Slower hard disk drive ; The Lenovo G70 is a budget-friendly 15-inch laptop with good specs and a mediocre display.

Lenovo Ideapad G570

As far as utility notebooks are concerned, Lenovo has been one of the frontrunners.

The Lenovo G570 is priced at Rs. 32,590, excluding taxes. Like most Lenovo laptops, the G570 does well what it’s supposed to do. The laptop lacks a USB 3.0 port, but it more than makes up with its features and performance. Essentials like the track pad...

Lenovo G570 M51BPUK review

The Radeon HD 6370M graphics chip may sound good, but it could manage only 22fps in our Fear test. It's underpowered by today's standards, although is capable for casual games.

While we like the keyboard and appreciate the Blu-ray drive and generous RAM and hard drive allocations, this version of the Lenovo G570 doesn’t quite enough 3D oomph to win an award.

Lenovo G570-4334 review

The G570-4334 from Lenovo is the kind of typically functional laptop you'd expect from the company, though it doesn't fare too badly in the looks department either. On the inside you'll find dark, brushed metal finish surrounding the keyboard and the...

Lenovo’s G570-4334 is smart, functional and has a decent turn of speed, though we had concerns about the screen – not only is it shinier than a soldier’s boot, the row of dead pixels that appeared soon after its first use was quite disconcerting....

Lenovo Essential G570 review

Unfortunately, the Lenovo Essential G570 can often cost as much as speedier and more full-featured business laptops. Our review system, as configured, will cost you around £600 (although the line starts at around £300).

The Lenovo Essential line is supposed to be a budget line, and the G570 performs that way, but the price point is too high. If you're looking for a budget-friendly machine, this version of the Lenovo Essential G570 isn't it. The Essential G570 line...
