Review Update Lenovo IdeaPad S300-MA14CGE Notebook

Down to earth. No gaming ambitions, no high-performance: Lenovo's

Good price-performance ratio; Stylish casing; Light and slim; Ultrabook feel; Decent application performance; Very quiet operating noise; Very low waste heat

Only average battery runtimes; Not suitable for games; Limited viewing angles; No Gigabit Ethernet; Spongy key stroke; Few interfaces; Intense bluish cast

That the cheaper version seems to be better conceived than the more expensive one.

Review Lenovo IdeaPad S300 Subnotebook

Low Voltage Gamer. The flat and cheap S300 is disguised as an Ultrabook. It's strength: Radeon graphics. The best all-round gaming available for a low price? Find out in this review.

Light and slim, Ultrabook feeling, 24 months guarantee, Low power consumption, Good program performance, Entry-level gaming performance, Quiet HDD, Low temperature emissions, The concept: cheap components make it possible to compete with the high...

Poor sturdiness, No Gigabit Ethernet, Poor contrast, dark display, Mere 4 GB RAM, Short battery life, Spongy key impact, Few ports, As usual, programs and games need to be assigned to a GPU in the Catalyst Control Center. This is annoying. We would...

Lenovo IdeaPad S300 review

It's undeniable that the Lenovo is banking on the IdeaPad S300's 22.4mm thin form factor and its affordable price tag to gain market traction. Taking those two factors in to consideration, we think that Lenovo will have a great shot at the...

Lenovo IdeaPad S300 review

A budget, pseudo-Ultrabook with plenty of power and good looks

Ivy Bridge performance ; Low price tag ; Connectivity ; Great design ; Good keyboard

Poor battery life ; Quick start needs improving ; Wasted gaming potential ; Heavy ; No SSD

Lenovo has been coming out with some really good Ultrabooks of late, with its IdeaPad U410 offering excellent performance and features for less than you would expect. The company's latest offering is the Lenovo IdeaPad S300 - a smaller and more...
